eLearning (online lessons blended with hands-on skills session)
Updated to reflect new science in the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
- A web-based, self-directed course that uses case-based scenarios and interactive lessons to teach students about both single-rescuer and team basic life support
- Includes 5 (five) interactive exercises, scenarios and a written test
- This course includes three (3) parts:
Part 1 is the online portion. Key Codes will be emailed to student for access to the online program.
Upon successful completion of the online portion, including the written test/exam, students receive a Part 1 certificate of completion. The certificate must be brought to GPS Education class to be able to complete parts 2 and 3.
Part 2 is a hands-on skills session
Part 3 is a skills test which must be taken at GPS Education, an authorized American Heart Association BLS Instructor.
- Key Codes will be emailed within 24 hours of orders placed between 7:30am-5:30pm EST Monday-Friday. If order is placed on Friday after 5pm EST, code will be emailed Monday morning
